Waist-Hip Ratio Measurement is an extremely important predictor of early morbidity and mortality in both MEN and WOMEN. It’s one of the circumference measurements I personally recommend tracking for ALL of my training clients. Seeing a decrease in scale weight (“WEIGHT LOSS”)  is a popular reason for deciding to start a fitness regimen, but perhaps even more important is seeing a DECREASE in a client’s Waist-to-Hip Ratio. You can

administer and track this measurement on your own, but it needs to start being taken as seriously as the numbers on a scale.


Tracking W-H Ratio not only offers another way to track SUCCESS as you engage in physical activity and lifestyle changes (it’s motivating to see change!), but it also shows us a much BIGGER picture of your health.
